IDEALS BEYOND BORDERS
20th of June is the World Refugee Day and we want to honor it by reflecting on the actual situation on forzed migrations. In contrast with people, postcards don't find problems to arrive to their destination, crossing borders by land, air or sea.
What if we make that our ideas of encouragement for migrant people, refugees and asylum seekers cross those borders?
We want to create a global action, sending artistic postcards, that is going to be included in the Erasmus + Project Books with life about young migrant and refugee inclusion through the art.
Artivism & Education

Situation of refugees in Italy
Migrant youth from Casa Francesco, intercultural mediators and users made us clear that the most important tool of inclusion for them was the communication.
In the meeting with them we all arrived to the conclusion that Inclusion in european countries is always focused on migrant people to be adapted and not on the society to be prepared, leaving most of the work to people in vulnerable situation.

Last Virtual Meeting
INTERCULTURAL AWARENESS
European Library of
Lives
Last meeting of the project was hosted online due to the unstable sanitary situation, but as an opportunity to all the beneficiaries in the project to be together beyond the mobility limitations.
The meeting topic was Intercultural Awareness, an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of the project, the context reality and virtual exchange of youth and exchange new methodoligues developed during these 2 years of work.
During the previous meeting in Italy the fundamental conclusion was that for a cohestionated community, intercultural inclusion must be done in 2 directions, from the hosting community to the migrant people and from the newcomers to their new culture home. Is necessary for the societies to undersand that we cannot let the difficult issue of adaptation of newcomers individuality, but give common solution and welcome the diversity richness.
In this meeting we explored how this can be done and welcomed new projects to come: Narratives of Resistance and My europe is your europe.

EVALUATION OF BOOKS WITH LIFE
Intercultural
awareness
debate
For this meeting, the workshop topic was Intercultural awareness and the reality of all 3 countries during these 3 years of project evolution to analyze the current situation. As the event was online we shared the debate on streaming. Some vibrant conclusions were that transformation must be made to make the system welcoming. We have a culture focused on the individual. It is a social construct raised so that in the end we are consumers. "The path is the collective, the common." From a liberal economy to an economy for the common good. And build that community from below.
Library of Lives
Migrant youth mobility is always a challenge for those inclusive organizations that want their youth to live these experiences in equality of rights as european youth.
This sanitary situation and its consequences in terms of mobility, has been taken as an advantage to increase migrant youth participation in this las meeting with the European Library of Lives activity.
The beneficiaries of the project had the chance to meet and speak about their challenges, goals, reality in each country and interculturality itself.
